This bilingual poetry anthology produced in collaboration with Friends of Alice Publishing includes the winning entries and the commendations of the Victorina Press Poetry Award Voices 2018, both in the original language and in translation. When in November 2018 Musiko Musika, an artist-led music education and cultural organisation, launched their second Chilean and Latin American Voices in Great Britain Festival, Victorina Press announced their second international poetry contest to celebrate the work of three renowned Chilean poets: Gabriela Mistral, Pablo Neruda and Nicanor Parra. Mistral and Neruda were awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature (1945 and 1971) and Parra was awarded the Cervantes Prize (2011). The three winning poems and seven commendations of the Voices Award were awarded by a jury composed of poets and writers Adam Feinstein, Leo Boix and Isabel del Rio. The translation of the poems is the work of Isabel.
