Wild Planet: Celebrating Wildlife Photographer of the Year

Wild Planet is a unique collection of arresting images from past years of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition - the international showcase for the very best photography featuring natural subjects. The most innovative and imaginative photographic images are judged and selected by a panel of experts. The chosen images form an exhibition at the Natural History Museum in London and around the world every year from the end of October. This beautiful book includes 80 specially selected photographs with extended captions that explain where and how each image was taken. The images include many previous winning entries and other highly commended photographs. They feature a wide range of natural subjects - from vivid scenes of animal behaviour to breathtaking landscapes - that show just how wonderful, dramatic and awe-inspiring wildlife on Earth is.
