Inspired by the beauty of the plants and flowers in her garden in France, Sue Goodchild has built up a gallery of beautiful moments in pencil and paint. Here she turns her attention to the vegetable garden, delighting in the forms and colours, observing details and creating paintings radiant with light. Each vegetable is also discussed from the point of view of the gardener, whose work complements that of the artist.
