Space Currencies In Contemporary African Art

The catalogue of artworks and essays from the exhibition SPace: Currencies in Contemporary African Art, which took place at Museum Africa, Newtown, Johannesburg in July 2010. Curated by Thembinkosi Goniwe and Melissa Mboweni, SPace featured 25 artists, 4 art collectives and 6 writers whose work provided creative and intellectual dialogue concerning social matters and human experiences in contemporary Africa and the Diasapora.
