Margaret A. Simons is a professor of philosophy at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and author of Beauvoir and The Second Sex.Marybeth Timmermann is a contributing translator and editor of The Useless Mouths and Other Literary Writings and other works by Beauvoir.
