The 5th International Conference on the Durability of Concrete Structures was co-organized by Shenzhen University, China; Hokkaido University, Japan; Leeds University, UK; Purdue University, USA; and Zhejiang University, China. The conference was held at the campus of Shenzhen University in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, from June 30-July 1, 2016.
The papers included in this volume outline recent developments in research and practice related to the durability of concrete structures. Forty-seven contributions have been organized into eight topical groups and include papers from the leading experts on: concrete transport properties, structural performance, materials characterization methods, freeze-thaw deterioration of concrete, emerging binder materials, damage monitoring and repairs, corrosion of steel reinforcement, and carbonation.
