About Cobi Labuscagne

Cobi Labuscagne holds advanced degrees in painting and animation from Michaelis School of Fine Art and Wits University. Before joining Artlogic to produce the FNB JoburgArtFair she worked and taught in the fields of software and visual art. In 2011 she received a PhD as a doctoral fellow at the Wits Institute for Social and Economic Research. Cobi has been part of the FNB JoburgArtFair team for the past 11 years and is the Director of Artlogic. She is the mother of Lunga and Ellen Mambo and lives in Johannesburg. Lauren Mulligan is a storyteller. Her curiosity leads her to things you don't often see on tv or learn about in school. The stories she collects take on different firms like drawings photographs and short films. Lauren was named one of South Africa's 20 emerging black womxn photographers by Between 10&5 and completed a Master's in Film & Television at Wits University in 2018. She lives in Johannesburg but her imagination is there and everywhere else.
