About Valerie Bolling

Valerie Bolling is the author of Ride Roll Run: Time for Fun!; Together We Ride (which received starred reviews from Booklist and The Horn Book); and Lets Dance! She is focused on bringing diverse literature to young readers and creating stories in which all children can see themselves and feel valued and validated. She loves dancing and music so if a jam took place on her street in Stamford Connecticut Bolling and her husband (who plays the djembe) would definitely join in.
