Born in England in 1849 Frances Hodgson Burnett was a playwrite and author best known for the enduring children's classics The Secret Garden A Little Princess and Little Lord Fauntleroy. She died in 1924 in America where she spent the latter part of her life. Katie Dicker is a writer and editor who has worked in publishing for over 25 years. She has a degree in politics and philosophy and specialises in children's educational publishing.
