About Lewis Carroll

Lewis Carroll was born Charles Lutwidge Dodgson in 1832 in Cheshire England. He is most famous for writing the playfully inventive Alices Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass. He also lectured in mathematics at the University of Oxford.
