About Zhihua Qu

Zhihua Qu received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1990. Afterwards he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Central Florida (UCF). From 1995 to 1997 he served as the assistant chair of the department. From 1999 to 2004 he was the Director/Chair of the EE department at UCF. Dr. Qu's research interests include system theory advanced controls and their applications to autonomous vehicles and intelligent systems. He has received a number of awards and published a number of the papers in his areas of expertise. Currently he is an Associate Editor for Automatica and for International Journal of Robotics and Automation.
