About Emmanuelle Pagano

Emmanuelle Pagano has published over a dozen works of fiction which are increasingly translated into German Hungarian Italian and Spanish. She has won the EU Prize for Literature among other prizes and lives in the Ardeche region with her family. ---------- Sophie Lewis is a London-born writer editor and translator from French and Portuguese. Her research has focused on how literary translation may act as a vehicle for influence and innovation between cultures. She has taught translation to undergraduates at Oxford and Cambridge universities and Italian to A-level students. Previous translations include Le talisman de la Villette (Strangled in Paris) by Claude Izner for Gallic Books.
