About Emily Thiroux Threatt

Emily Thiroux Threatt is a textbook author and lecturer with extensive personal experience in the grieving process due to the deaths of her two husbands as well as her father mother aunts uncles and many friends. She has learned to face life with love optimism and joy.  In turn she has created a unique program called Writing Your Way Through Grief to help others through the grieving process. She holds a Masters Degree in English with a concentration in Writing. She has been teaching writing and composition on the college and university level over 30 years. During that time she published the following three writing textbooks published by Prentice Hall and Pearson Education.
