About Gina Mulligan

Gina L. Mulligan was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 at age 40. After her diagnosis she received over 200 encouraging cards and notes from friends and strangers - healing messages that helped her in her illness. Mulligan wanted to be sure other breast cancer patients were encouraged in this same special way so she started a charity called Girls Love Mail in 2011. Since then Girls Love Mail has delivered more than 20000 handwritten letters to women living with breast cancer.
