JÖEL HELLIER is Professor of Economics at both the University of Nantes and the University of Lille 1 France. His research centres on the economic analysis of inequality in relation to globalization and intergenerational skill mobility particularly from a theoretical point of view. NATHALIE CHUSSEAU is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Lille 1 France. Her research centres on the economic analysis of inequality and unemployment in relation to labour market institutions and social policies within globalized economies.
