About

Dr. Zhao Changwen currently serves as Chair Professor of Lingnan College Sun Yat-sen University and President of Institute of National Development. He used to serve as President of Centre for International Knowledge on Development (CIKD) Director General of Industrial Economy Research Department Development Research Centre of the State Council(DRC) Director General of Enterprises Research Institute of DRC Professor and Vice President of Sichuan University. He was Fulbright Scholar at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (20022003) Visiting Scholar at University of Oxford (1999) Chinese University of Hong Kong (2000) University of Cambridge (2011). His research interest covers industrial policy financial reform SOEs reform and economic growth. Dr. Zhao holds a Doctor Degree in Economics from South-West University of Finance and Economics Master Degree in Global Public Policy from the University of Southern California and Hong Kong University Master Degree in Economics from South-West University. Dr. Xu Zhaoyuan has a Ph.D. in Economics from Guanghua School of Management Peking University. He is currently a researcher and deputy director general of the Industrial Economy Research Department of the Development Research Centre of the State Council (DRC) where he has worked since 2007. He has published dozens of research reports and more than 30 academic papers in top journals such as Economic Research Quarterly Journal of Economics Management World Quantitative and Technical Economics Research China Economic Review. His research achievements have earned one China Development Award Special Prize (provincial and ministerial awards) and three China Development Awards First Prize and also won the 2010 National Business Development Research Achievement Award-Special Achievement Award First Prize and the 2013 Sun Yefang Book Award
