Role of Clustering in Provision of Economic Growth

Under current economic conditions, societys business structure once again faces the phenomenon of stagnating markets. This recessive state, often discussed in a variety of scientific works, explains the behaviour of financial and economic indicators in the business vector of the global economy. As such, it is obvious that various regions throughout the world require a breath of fresh air, that is, new steps towards positive changes of the quality of their economic growth. As shown in this volume, the resolution of crises and other manifestations of economic instability are related to the phenomenon of clustering, which has, since the second half of the 20th century, become of increasing popularity around the world. The contributors here explore aspects of the formation of modern economic clusters, discussing the advantages and negative aspects of clustering and the phenomenon of underdevelopment whirlpools as a manifestation of clustering. In addition, they analyse the contradictions of clustering, the fusion of clustering into small and medium enterprises, and cluster initiatives, and develop a methodological approach to cluster formation under modern conditions. The book will be of particular interest to postgraduate students, scientists, and economic specialists, as well as the general reader wishing to learn more about the problems of the phenomenon of clustering in various regions throughout the world.
