About Gill Pittar

Gill grew up the daughter of a farmer and physiotherapist in rural Waikato. She later married bought a farm and raised four children. The family moved to Auckland in 1992 to help with the rehabilitation of their son who sustained a brain injury. It was here that Gill inspired by a topsy-turvy doll decided to start writing to promote diversity across the world. Gill currently lives in Gisborne.
