About Becca Heddle

Becca has been writing books for children for over 20 years. They usually tend to be about history science or nature although she is interested in everything. I have been working as a freelance Illustrator since 1985 after completing a degree at Kingston specialising in Illustration. Over the years Ive evolved into a fully paid up member of the digital age. After too many disasters with a bottle of ink probably caused by the cat I embraced the computer age. My work is heavily influenced by 1950s and 60s cartoons. Most of my images are digitally generated however I nearly always begin with pencil on paper creating a hand drawn style.
