About Dermot Lucey

Dermot Lucey is the author of The Past Today the popular textbook for Junior Certificate. A teacher in Ballincollig Community School Cork he is also an experienced history examiner. He is well-known for his contributions to the History Teachers Association of Ireland and particularly for editing its magazine Stair. He has taken an active interest in the development of the new syllabus for Leaving Certificate history.
