I Want to Be an Artist

For any child who loves making art! This Level One I Can Read story by Laura Driscoll, illustrated by Catalina Echeverri, blends narrative with nonfiction, introducing many different kinds of working artists to the young reader.

Papa takes me to an art show and I get to meet a painter and a sculptor. Then we go to Papas workspace. Hes a hand-lettering artist. He takes me to meet the other artists in the building and I get to see how they work. Maybe I will be an artist when I grow up!
