Backstabbers: The Reality of Politics

English

By (author): Rickey Hendon

Illinois State Senator Rickey Hendon tells it like it is for managing a political campaign of any stripe. A veteran of the Illinois Senate for the past 17 years, Hendon served with Barack Obama in that chamber and campaigned for him during his successful US Senate and Presidential campaigns. An African American politician from the rough-and-tumble West Side of Chicago, Hendon also worked with other key African Americans including Mayor Harold Washington and Senate Past President Emil Jones. He knows exactly what he is talking about, and this is entertaining and educational reading for both political novices and seasoned election operatives. See more
