Geert van Calster is voorzitter van de Onderzoekseenheid Internationaal en EU recht aan de KU Leuven. Hij is alumnus van het Europacollege Brugge directeur van het Instituut IPR en Senior Fellow aan het Leuven Institute for Global Governance Studies. Hij is tevens visiting professor aan de China-EU School of Law in Beijing visiting lecturer aan King's College London en visiting professor Monash University Melbourne. Daarnaast is hij advocaat aan de balie van Brussel en editor van www.gavclaw.com een blog over recente ontwikkelingen inzake IPR Wereldhandelsrecht en Milieurecht zijn drie belangrijkste onderzoeks- en praktijkgebieden.Geert van Calster is Chairman of the research unit international and EU law at the KU Leuven.
