Betsy Hartmann writes nonfiction and fiction about important national and global challenges. Her forthcoming book The America Syndrome: Apocalypse War and Our Call to Greatness reveals how end-times thinking profoundly influences American foreign policy environmental politics and the persistence of injustice.
