About Alice BlochJohn SolomosSarah Neal

Alice Bloch is Professor of Sociology at the University of Manchester UK. She publishes in the fields of forced migration and race and ethnicity and her books include Race and Ethnicity in Britain (co-edited with John Solomos) and The Migration and Settlement of Refugees in Britain. Sarah Neal is a Reader in Sociology at the University of Surrey UK. She has published extensively in the areas of ethnicity multiculture community and space and her books include Rural Identities Ethnicity and Community in the Contemporary English Countryside and Community Welfare and Crime (co-edited with Gerry Mooney). John Solomos is Professor of Sociology at the University of Warwick UK. He has published widely in the areas of race ethnicity and migration. Among his books are Theories of Race and Racism: A Reader (Second Edition co-edited with Les Back) and The Sage Handbook of Race and Ethnic Relations (co-edited with Patricia Hill Collins).
