Can You See My Mommy?

English

By (author): Becky Davies

Illustrated by: Mel Armstrong

Children can turn the peek-through pages to help the little critters find their mommies -- a perfect bedtime read-along!

Little critters such as a butterfly, snail, and ladybug tell readers what they love about their mommies. As children turn the peek-through pages, they'll help each baby find their mommy! Filled with gorgeous artwork that camouflages the moms, the pages are die-cut so that the found mom is a raised piece that kids can touch. When the page is turned, the piece fits into a scooped cutout on the opposite page. With sweet, rhyming text that details what the babies love about their mommies, this is an ideal read-aloud for Mother's Day, as well as a great gift for baby showers and first birthdays. See more

About Becky Davies

Becky Davies is a children's book editor and author who lives in Bristol England with her partner and her Romanian rescue dog named Moon. She loves being outdoors and writing books about nature.Mel Armstrong is a freelance illustrator living in the coolest capital in the world: Wellington New Zealand. When she was a little girl she loved to cover any piece of paper she could find--including school workbooks--in doodles patterns and adorable characters. She has now turned that into a full-time career as a surface pattern designer and children's book illustrator. Mel juggles her illustration work with parenthood and finds that her two young children inspire her with their unique and quirky view of the world. On days off you will find Mel racing through the bush on her mountain bike or exploring the wilderness of New Zealand with her family.
