Woggle''s Wishes

The book was inspired by my seven grandsons. Their activities, observations and reactions to the natural environment were noted and photographed after each outing. Their digital screens had to be left at home. The story is about two boys and a girl who need one another to explore and wonder about all the things they see. Some things are scary and they are frightened of getting lost. With the help of grown-ups, they were reassured, discovered more and developed their imaginations through making things and writing stories. All children should experience and develop in this way to grow into stable and interesting adults. The illustrations are drawn by me from photos of real places mainly in Dorset and Hampshire. See more
