The Meeting of Opposites: Hindus And Christians In The West

English

By (author): The Revd Dr Andrew Wingate

The future of the world depends on the relationship between people of widely different religions. A true meeting: supported by Hindus as well as Christians. A guided tour of Hindu life, and relations to Christians in many parts of the world. Does not compare doctrines, but introduces people. Hinduism may be the Islam of the future, and India is a rapidly developing nation. The historical background as well as the story of migration are explored, so that the reader can understand why Hindus relate quite differently in Britain, in Scandinavia and in the US. Hinduism has many western forms, especially in the US, and a powerful presence in Leicester and London. See more
