About Frances Durkin

Frances Durkin is a historian writer and mum who grew up in a large history-loving family. A regular contributor to Aquila magazine on all sorts of historical and STEM subjects for children and co-creator of the Histronauts Frances runs workshops at museums and bookshops and has written for the Tate. Frances lives in Buckinghamshire UK with her young family. Jenny is a science graduate who now works as an author and editor in publishing. Having written the bestselling STEM Starters for Kids series for b small Jenny has also worked with Laura Dockrill and written for Sarah Beeny. Nur Ventura is an illustrator from Barcelona who enjoys working in children's advertising and institutional illustration. She likes to spend time with her family and her cat Ramona take care of her garden and savour a delicious cup of coffee while drawing as a hobby.
