After dying in a freak accident, Matt Cahill inexplicably wakes up three months later with the disturbing ability to see thingsterrible thingsthat others cannot. Drafted as a warrior in the battle between good and evil, Matt will stop at nothing to destroy the malevolent Mr. Dark. In The Dead Man Volume 5, a trio of sinister new stories tracks the reluctant hero on his nightmarish quest. Matt enters the violent world of underground cage fighting where a brutal Death Match becomes a fight-to-the-undead that could lead him to the truth about his reincarnationor to a gruesome demise. The Black Death is a deadly new form of crystal meth that turns users into black-eyed, homicidal maniacs. Matt must destroy the virulently addictive drug before the madness spreads from a backwoods community to the entire nation. About Aric DavisChrista FaustDavid TullyLee GoldbergWilliam Rabkin

Christa Faust is the author of several novels including Choke Hold Money Shot and Hoodtown. She worked in the Times Square peep booths as a professional dominatrix and in the adult film industry both behind and in front of the cameras for over a decade starring in dozens of racy fetish-oriented videos. She also wrote and directed a four-part bondage adventure serial called Dita in Distress featuring world famous Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese. Faust is a Film Noir fanatic an avid reader of classic hardboiled pulp novels and an MMA fight fan. She lives and writes in Los Angeles. The author of A Good and Useful Hurt Nickel Plated and From Ashes Rise Aric Davis brings a unique flavor to his writing thanks to his sixteen-year career as a body piercer and punk-rock aficionado. Alongside reading and writing he takes special delight in roller coasters hockey chilly weather and honest friends. He lives in Grand Rapids Michigan with his wife and daughter. David Tully used to teach at New York University where he got his PhD in Literature (so thats Doctor Tully if you please) then lived in Los Angeles for several years where he worked as Head of Development for Oscar-winner Volker Engel at Unchartered Territory before he moved to Munich where he worked as a scriptwriter for TV and features and headwriter for series. He then moved to the United Arab Emirates where the script for his supernatural thriller Djinn attracted horror legend Tobe Hooper to come to Dubai and direct this first international Arab horror movie. Davids critical biography Terry Southern and the American Grotesque was published in 2010 and aside from being a script writer (whose projects include the upcoming Casting the Runes starring Simon Pegg and directed by Joe Dante) and the creative mastermind at Shivertown Road Films he also now works as a novelist.
