This is one of Danish illustrator Kay Nielsen''s illustrations for the fairy tale Minon-Minette. Prince Souci fell in love with a beautiful and kind-hearted princess called Minon-Minette, and was desperate to win her love. Yet finding himself one day by chance in the Iron King''s territory, Souci was captured and caged, nearly despairing of escape.
