Charles Wade was plantation owner, architect, artist and collector in one; he admired all kinds of craftsmanship and collected pieces from all over the world to display in his Cotswold manor house. He landscaped the grounds, handcrafted model villages, and created a memorable visitor experience, one that can still be enjoyed today, long after his death.
