About Stacy Mehrfar

Born in New York Stacy Arezou Mehrfar resided in Sydney Australia from 2008-2016 and completed an MFA (Research) at the University of New South Wales Art & Design and was a lecturer in photo-media at several arts colleges. Her first book Tall Poppy Syndrome a collaborative work with Amy Stein was published in 2012. In 2018 Mehrfar completed a stop motion video piece A Collective Performance as a commission for TEDxSydney. Her photographs and video installations have been exhibited internationally.
