About Alexandra HearnAnna ColeDavid Corp

Anna Cole studied Archaeology and Anthropology at Murray Edwards College University of Cambridge before training as a TEFL teacher. She spent the summer on the Costa Brava as a child so it was a natural step to move to Barcelona - where she had been living ever since. Anna has worked as a teacher at the British Council Barcelona and after completing her RSA/UCLES DELTA diploma she started working as the Director of Languages at Merit. Anna began writing materials for Macmillan in 1996 - Brilliant Imagine Definitions United. She first worked with Dave Spencer on the Macmillan Secondary Course and was thrilled to be asked to write the Gateway Teacher's books for A2 B1 B1+ and B2 levels.
