Introduction to Archival Science

Records that are categorized at the time of their generation constitute a large portion of public records created by state and public administration entities in general. At the same time, they are an important component of the production of historical sources, a portion of which should be permanently kept in the relevant public archives. This book addresses the theory, methodology, and practice of archive science. Furthermore, it studies various cultural approaches to the development, administration, and dissemination of archives, records, and data. It also aims to facilitate the interchange and comparison of concepts, perspectives, and attitudes concerning recordkeeping concerns around the world. See more
