Sue Shaper is Chair of the Schools Library Group National Committee and Library Resources Director at The Broxbourne School Hertfordshire. Joy Court is Chair of the CILIP Carnegie & Kate Greenaway Medals Working Party. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and of the English Association and a Trustee and National Council member of UKLA. She is Reviews Editor for The School Librarian and author of Read to Succeed. Sharon Markless is Senior Lecture in Higher Education within King's Learning Institute where she draws on many years of experience in both teaching and research. She initially taught in secondary schools and further education before moving into H.E. in 1990 as a Senior Lecturer in Professional Development at Canterbury Christ Church University College. Elizabeth Bentley is Librarian and Learning Resource Centre Manager at Addey and Stanhope School. Sarah Pavey is an Independent Consultant and Trainer for school libraries. Carolynn Rankin worked for 20 years in special and academic library and information services before moving into professional education in 2000 most recently as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at Leeds Metropolitan University. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals and External Examiner for the CILIP Qualifications Board. Dr Avril Brock is a Principal Lecturer in the Carnegie Faculty at Leeds Metropolitan University. She teaches in the School of Education and Childhood on a range of Postgraduate and Undergraduate Early Childhood Education courses.
