This series, dedicated to the study of modern Arabic literature, is unique and unprecedented. it publishes contemporary, scholarly accounts of developments in the field in the past few decades, and will include modern genre studies; titles devoted to the works of both established and new and emerging writers, and to specific contemporary movements, trends, groupings, themes and periods in modern Arabic literature; and studies arranged by geographical regions.
