About Kar Snehendu

Snehendu Kar Dr.O.H. received his M.Sc. in Psychology in 1958 from the University of Calcutta India and his Dr.P.H. in Public Health and Behavioral Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley. His professional and research interests include acculturation and health health communication in multicultural communities and empowerment and health education. Dr. Kar is currently at UCLA as Professor of Community Health Sciences Director of the MPH Program for Health Professionals (MPHHP) in Health Promotion and Health Education and Co-Director of Public Health Practice.
