About

Lionel Marti is an archaeologist and Assyriologist Researcher at the National Center for Scientific Research. He is a specialist on Northern Mesopotamia from the Amorite period to the fall of the Assyrian Empire. He has also directed the French archaeological mission of Bash Tapa (Kurdistan Iraq) of which he is now co-director. Olivier Rouault is an archaeologist and Assyriologist Honorary Professor at the University Lumière Lyon2. He directed the excavations of Tell Ashara Terqa in Syria and he is now co-director of the French mission at Qasr Shemamok (Kurdistan Iraq). Aline Tenu is an archaeologist and Researcher at the National Center for Scientific Research. A specialist in the Assyrian world and funerary practices she also directs the French archaeological mission in Peramagron (Kurdistan Iraq).
