Elisabetta de Lutio graduated in medicine and specialized in diagnostic imaging at the University of Naples. In her over twenty years of experience first at A. Cardarelli Hospital (Naples) and now at the G. Pascale Tumor Foundation (Naples) she has been involved in various sectors of diagnostic imaging including conventional radiology interventional US color Doppler CEUS and MDCT and become expert in double contrast techniques applied to the musculoskeletal system and the gastrointestinal tract. Her strong interdisciplinary approach has seen her involved in numerous interdepartmental working groups and study protocols collaborating with colleagues from hematology surgery medicine and intensive care in the study of a broad range of oncologic disease including colorectal cancer HCC GIST and breast cancer as well as studying novel techniques of contrast enhancement. She has also taught in specialization courses in oncology and diagnostic imaging techniques of the gastrointestinal tract.
