Chris Beetles Summer Show 2018

The Chris Beetles Summer Show is an annual exhibition comprising a superlative range of British oils and watercolours. This particular event also included European artists, notably Henri Delaborde and Adolph Seel. Others featured include Thomas Rowlandson, John Varley, William Henry Hunt, Edward Lear and Hercules Brabazon Brabazon. As 2018 marked the centenary of the vote for some women, this catalogue also features a series of exciting new biographies of female artists, alongside previously unseen work; these include Elizabeth Bridge, Caroline Paterson, also known as Mrs Caroline Sharpe and Emily Mary Osborn.
