About Sheila Richmeier

Sheila Richmeier MS RN CMPE is a Practice Enhancement Facilitator for TransforMED a subsidiary of the American Academy of Family Physicians where she facilitates the adoption of the Medical Home for primary care practices. Former posts include Practice Administrator Surgical Group Kansas City where she managed all operations from business to clinical; Patient Care Supervisor Shawnee Missions Medical Center; Practice Administrator and Director of Education Medical Services Corp. where she was responsible for state-wide educational programs and as consultant in clinical and administrative issues for medical practices through Kansas. She is certified as a Medical Practice Executive by MGMA and is board certified by ANCC in Community Health. She has published one book Leading Your Clinical Team: A Comprehensive Guide to Optimizing Productivity and Quality (MGMA 2009) and was co-author on a national study on the nursing shortage published by AJN. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau MGMA and is past treasurer of the Kansas State Nursing Association.
