Dr. Ram K. Gupta is an associate professor at Pittsburg State University. Dr. Gupta''s research focuses on biobased polymers; flame-retardant polyurethanes; conducting polymers and composites; and green energy production and storage using two-dimensional materials optoelectronics and photovoltaics devices organic-inorganic heterojunctions for sensors biocompatible nanofibers for tissue regeneration scaffold and antibacterial applications and biodegradable metallic implants. Dr. Gupta has published more than 230 peer-reviewed articles; has made more than 280 national international and regional presentations; has chaired many sessions at national and international meetings; has edited many books; and has written several book chapters. He has received more than $2.5 million for research and educational activities from many funding agencies. He is serving as editor-in-chief associate editor and editorial board member of numerous journals.
