About Dan McCarthy

Dan McCarthy was born in Honolulu Hawaii; grew up in Huntington Beach California; and lives and works in Brooklyn and upstate New York. His work is in the collection of MoMA New York MAM Paris ICA Miami and DESTE Foundation. His previously published monographs include Dan McCarthy in 2007 Facepots in 2015 and Skateboarders in 2018. Writer Robert Sullivan is the author of Rats The Meadowlands A Whale Hunt and My American Revolution. His writing has appeared in the New Yorker the New York Times A Public Space and Vogue. He is the recipient of a 2022 Guggenheim Fellowship.
