Stanley Krippner Ph.D. former director of the Maimonides Medical Center Dream Research Laboratory is a professor at California Institute of Integral Studies. He is a fellow in the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science. Adam J. Rock Ph.D. is a senior lecturer at the School of Psychology at the University of New England Armidale NSW Australia. His primary research interests are in the area of altered states of consciousness mainly focused on shamanism the conceptual problem of consciousness and mediumship. Harris L. Friedman Ph.D. is a retired research professor of psychology from the University of Florida Gainesville and is a consulting and clinical psychologist. His many writings primarily focus on transpersonal psychology as well as on issues related to culture. Nancy L. Zingrone Ph.D. is a senior core adjunct faculty member in psychology at Northcentral University. She is a life member of the American Psychological Association as well as a two-time past president of the Parapsychological Association receiving its Outstanding Contribution Award in 2015 for her efforts to improve education in the field.
