Melinda Lee Rathjen grew up in southern Illinois reading past her bedtime whenever she could get away with it. As an editor at WorthyKids she still spends a lot of time reading though stealth and flashlights are rarely necessary. She lives in Nashville Tennessee.Rob McClurkan is a storyteller. Sometimes he uses words and sometimes pictures. He has written and illustrated two picture books Aw Nuts! and Playdates Rule! and he has also illustrated a bunch of other fun picture books like Beware the Flerken and Super Rooster Saves the Day. He lives in Georgia with a dog two kids and a wife. He also has a snake in his backyard that says hello every spring. It's a nice snake but keeps to itself and Rob likes it that way.
