Prof. Univ. Dr. Ioan CODOREAN is a primary physician in two medical specialties: Radiology Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine and obtained the title of PhD D in 1998 with the thesis Correlation Tomodensitometric and Scintigraphic Study of Ischemic Stroke in the Carotid Territory.He worked as a military doctor in the Central Military Hospital of Bucharest from 1976 until 2011 when he retired. He continued to work in the Central Military Hospital until 2016 (as a professor at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy.Throughout his medical career he has contributed to the introduction promotion and development of medical imaging techniques in both nuclear medicine and radiology.In 1977 he established the Nuclear Medicine Laboratory and introduced into clinical practice the techniques of scintigraphic imaging and radioimmunological dosing of hormones and radiochemical techniques for determining the parameters of ferrokineticsHe was President of the Romanian Society of Nuclear Medicine (SRMN) (2000-2005 2005-2010). Since 2010 he has been an honorary member of this Society.He was founding member of the Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine of Romania (SRMR) in 2006  and of the Romanian working Group of ISMRM Romanian Chapter of ISMRM in 2008 and was elected President of the Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine of Romania (SRMR) in 2007-2009 and 2009-2011He has published as author and co-author 4 books 17 book chapters and over 150 scientific communications with abstracts in the volume of scientific manifestations and articles in specialized journals. Prof. I. Codorean also organized several courses and congresses:-        Executive President of three National Congresses of Nuclear Medicine with international participation (2001 2006 2010) -        Director of the First International Course Therapeutic Applications of Open Sources of Radioactivity Sinaia - Romania 2002 organized by the SRMN in collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency and the National Atomic Energy Agency.-        Member of the local Committee of the five-day international course The Summer School of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy from Principles to Advanced Application organized annually by the Romanian Cultural Foundation and the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) in collaboration with the Center for Clinical Imaging Central Military Hospital Romania 1995-2008.-        President of the local Committee for organizing the first and second ERASMUS course in Magnetic Resonance Imaging in ROMANIA Central Nervous System Module and Spine  (2006) and  Abdomen-pelvic module (2008).-        Organizer of the theoretical and practical course New Techniques in the Diagnosis and Minimally Invasive Treatment of Extradural Diseases of the Spine February 2-3 2007 Bucharest-        General Secretary of the First Francophone East - European Imaging Congress Bucharest 1996 for which he was awarded the Herman Fishgold Jubilee Medal Iasi 2006  MD PhD Ion Bogdan CodoreanMD PhD Ion Bogdan Codorean is a primary physician in orthopedics and sports traumatology and worked as a military doctor in Central Military Emergency Hospital (CMEH) during 1999-2016.For 6 years (2010-2016) he was the Head of the Orthopedics-Traumatology Clinic Section of the Central Military Emergency Hospital Bucharest.In 2014 he obtained the title of  PhD at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila- Bucharest with the thesis Correlative Study Through Clinic MRI and  Arthroscopic Surgery of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament Rupture and Contributions to the Surgical  Techniques of Reconstructions with Autologous Graf.Since 2018 - present is the Head of Artrosport Clinic Medical Center in Bucharest.He is the head of works (university lecturer) at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy Bucharest since 2015. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedics the European Society of Sports Traumatology Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy ESSKA the International Society of Arthroscopy Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.                       Currently he is the President of the Romanian Society of Arthroscopy and Sports Traumatology  since 2022 and is member of the Medical Committee of the Romanian Olympic and Sport Committee(since 2017) as well as Head of the Medical Committee of the Romanian Football Federation (since 2016). He was author and co-author of 4 books in 2004 2016 2017.   Dr. I.B.
