About Hélène Rocco

After internships in the editorial offices of 6Mois and XXI A/R and Zeste she co-directed the web-documentary J'ai décidé d'être stérile about the voluntary sterilization of childless women for the Inrockuptibles magazine. Upon graduation Hélène worked as a web and print journalist for the photo magazine Fisheye from 2015 to 2017. She worked as a journalist for the lifestyle magazine Mint since its launch in 2014 and she was in charge of Mint's website until September 2019. For a year and a half she was also head of the bonnes adresses section for the Dojo Paris app. She then worked for the À Nous Paris website of which she became editor-in-chief until the media's dissolution in spring 2020. Hélène also writes for Dim Dam Dom The Good Life Glamour Paris Beaux Arts magazine and Les Inrocks. She was editor-in-chief of the print magazine Milk Décoration from March to October 2021 and is currently editor-in-chief of IDEAT.fr.  Sophia van den Hoek's style can be described as simple but feel-good. Her attraction to natural light whether its a soft golden hour light or a ray of strong sunshine peeking through allows her to capture the pure and genuine aesthetics of the world around her. She shoots a diverse range of subjects and has a particular love for images that relate to food and travel.
