Jessica S. Horst is Reader in Psychology at the University of Sussex, UK, where she is also the Director of Teaching and Learning. She has taught research methods in both the USA and the UK.

Peter Harris is Senior Lecturer in psychology at the University of Sheffield. Previously he has worked at the universities of Sussex (twice) Hertfordshire and Nottingham and has been a visiting fellow at the universities of Amsterdam and Oxford. His principal research interests and journal publications are in social and health psychology.
