God the Artist: Revealing Gods Creative Side Through Pottery

English

By (author): Morgan McCarver

Creative outlets can be a source of immense joy and satisfaction in our lives, but the question remains: is creativity something that is innate within us, or must it be learned?

God the Artist is a three-part, step-by-step guide to pottery making and how it relates to Christianity. It provides a clear understanding of the references to pottery in the Bible, where they originate from and why they are significant to every Christians life. It concisely interprets these pottery references in their original context, while explaining Biblical ceramic symbolism in a conversational way. Through insightful commentary on The Potter's House in Jeremiah 18, as well as other pottery references from the Old and New Testaments, God the Artist proves that all people are inherently creative because all human beings are made in the image of God, the ultimate creator.

Each chapter is reinforced with a Creativity Challenge designed to encourage pottery pros, admirers, and anyone seeking to expand their creative capacity and strengthen their spiritual practice, to grow closer to God as they progress on their journey. With the help of this guide, individuals will gain a deeper understanding of the creativity given to them by God and how to use it to honor and glorify Him.
